Commissioner's Message 1-29-23
COMMISSIONERS MESSAGE - 1-29-23
Hi RTBA Families - we're just about 2 months away from opening day and there is a ton going on!
- Winter practices are off to a great start, if you aren't following us on social media you're missing out!! Over 100 kids from all age groups have attended!!! Is it too late to sign up? NO, we have 6 more weeks reserved - register here.
We finally got our payment process worked out, click here to pay for winter sessions. $25 per child for all 8 sessions please. I'll have a QR code on my phone as well. Please, no cash, so we don't lose track :)
- Now is the time to register for the Spring Season!! Registration is open for ages 4-15 here. I met with the town this week and our vision for Baseball Saturday's is becoming a reality!! We can't create teams, order uniforms, and schedule unless kids and coaches are registered! If you aren't Rutgers certified, find a session here.
- Our sponsorship drive is HOT - if you'd like to be a sponsor, or know someone who should, please sponsor us here.
- Our next meeting is Tuesday, February 7th, if you'd like to participate or just want to meet the people who are making all of these great things happen, stop on by the Senior Center at 8pm.
- We have 2 upcoming events where you can off load old gear and get new from our great sponsor Dick's Sporting Goods:
- There is a trade in event - Feb 3-5 (click here for more info) and Feb 10-12 (click here for more info)
- The discount instore shopping days at Dick's will be 3/24-3/27, coupon will be distributed when we get closer.
Also, we are working closely within the community to bring additional baseball teams, player and coaches clinics together! One or two more approvals and announcements will flow... stay tuned!!!
As always, reach out with any questions, suggestions, or to get involved.
